Cupcakes with a Story

Mag & I wanted to do some cupcakes for our ex-boss, Yoon for CNY. Mag is really all out to challenge me with all sorts of funny themes.... It's been good... Pressuring but challenging :) So here goes the story for each..

Yoon has a successful mushroom farm - hence the shiitake mushrooms!

The lady in yellow is Yoon's super wife, Chan who loves gardening! Chan will cheer you up any day, any time! She's such a dear....

Yoda, the wise old man - just like Yoon!

This is supposed to be an old red beetle with car number PG3219 (received wrong info from a very reliable source - hmmm) But... to our surprise, the car was just recently repainted! It's now yellow & black!!!

This is no common iron. It's an old legendary iron which Yoon displays in his office last time. On the iron, it's state "For ironing out problems" - Very meaningful!

And for his religious beliefs... a monk is used to represent :)

Mushrooms up on the hill!

I brought the box of cuppies when we went to visit Yoon & Mag did the honor of story telling! Everyone was so excited to see what was in the box :)

Golf + CNY cuppies

Ying wants more cuppies! This time it's for the boyfriend's dad :) And the dad absolutely loves golf! So my challenge was to do a golf theme with a touch of CNY...

In order to maintain a same feel all the way, i used grass-y feel all the way... I added bunker (the sand pit) but of course the dad is too good... he missed the bunker & landed in the hole; A smiley face golf ball; a Hole-in-One @ Hole number 11 and a number 1 golf ball!

To add CNY feel, added gold ingots, pineapples & oranges :)

Early CNY & V-day Celebration

Jing's friend Pat is leaving soon and will not be able to celebrate CNY in Penang. So Jing and her friends decided to order some CNY cupcakes for her... It's so sweet of them..

Usually, CNY's red paper is filled with chinese words. But because I don't know how to write them, I used heart shape chop instead! Kinda does the trick-eh? heheheh...

Since CNY & V-day is closed by, I decided to throw in some V-day designs as well so that Jing & friends can celebrate it all - farewell, CNY & v-day!
