How it all began...

Last year... around June/July... i was still completely clueless what sugar paste/fondant was.. It was when my dear friend from the states, Sherene who came back for holidays... and she was asking me to look out for 'fondant' wedding cake for my other dear friend June (who's also from the states). And that was when Sherene brought me over to Borders to look at books on what fondant is all about. I was overwhelm and couldn't believe that these things are possible... 

But of course, I bought a few books... and more and more and more and i've lost count :P And then, there's the world of Flickr and google and the internet... and there's also the amazing Debbie Brown... and amazing friends i met and my amazement for fondant turned into passion and the rest is history! 

Both Sherene & June did not stop at introducing to me what fondant was... they continued to support me as I pursue to understand more about it. They bought me lots of gadgets I couldn't find around in Malaysia, sent me links, pics and gave me all the inspirations :)

21: Father's Day Mini Cake

June is leaving a few days before Father's Day. So, she requested for the cakes earlier so that they can celebrate with their dads before they leave! One for June's dad... & one for Kelvin's Dad

13: Wedding Favors

I should say that I am very lucky & honored to be given the opportunity to make my dear friend - June & Kelvin's wedding favors. As they are from the states, June sourced for special sized cupcake cups & boxes...! She wanted them to be very simple according to their pink & silver theme :)

And finally... ready for each guest is a single cuppycake in a chinese takeaway box! June & Kelvin also gave away a pair of chinese chopsticks as favors. The 2 combination is so nice!

To the newly weds - Congratulations!! :) It was such a beautiful wedding - the fun-nest so far for me!

03: AMSTEL Light

June my dear friend who's back for her wedding wanted to do a special cake for their friend who came all the way from the states for their wedding! It's meant to be a 'joke' for her friend. Not bothering to ask much, I just took the order - Seyda holding beer bottles (and it must be AMSTEL light), if possible, lots of beer bottles... Since she stressed on the beer bottles so much... this is what i did!

The lady is Seyda - whom i've the privilege to meet & got to know :) wooooooooo

And AMSTEL light beer bottles some opened some not all around...

V-day gift from a faraway friend!

My dear dear friend, June from the states sent me more stuffs for Valentine's Day! I've been waiting for the package and was so excited to receive it! Yeah!!! Thank you so so much! Love it lots... So sayang to use-lar.... I especially love the teapot plate...
